/ About the Software
AKWeb Android is an app that provides a browser for the 8 Ball Pool web version. It is intended for people who want to play 8 Ball Web on Android inside the app, rather than using the native Android game.
This is not the native Android version of 8 Ball. AKWeb loads 8 Ball Web. Product notes state that Android-specific game detections do not apply to this web game environment.
The AKWeb control interface becomes available only after a successful login to 8 Ball. Supported sign-in methods are Google, Facebook, and a Miniclip account. Guest accounts are not supported. If you do not want to register, you can enter a SubKey and a password you choose on the login screen, then tap Login. That password should be remembered. The notes do not describe a recovery step.
AKWeb includes the same major features as the iOS version: a shot tracker and automatic opening of the victory box. AutoQueue can select any combination of tables, queue multiple tables, and use Smart AI mode. Supported game types are Lucky Shot, 8 Ball, and 9 Ball.
On the login screen, Translate to Local is in the top-right corner and translates the interface into the local language. The first time the 8 Ball Pool browser on Android loads the game, it downloads the full game data, so the first launch can take longer than later launches.
